About Party Lab

The Party Lab started back in November of 2012, as a party supply store that offered balloons. When we first opened, we only offered simple balloons filled with helium on strings. Everything changed about a year or 2 later. We were offered by a local balloon vendor to come to a Balloon Decorating class. We went and were immediately amazed with all the different designs that we could offer with balloons. From there we practiced and took even more classes, soon we were offering some cool and unique designs. The Balloon business continued to grow over the years and eventually became most of our business. We sadly made the decision to close our retail store in January of 2024. This way we can focus on what we are truly passionate about. Being able to bring unique designs to your events. Every order is unique and customized to each client. Although some of the designs are the same, we love making it fit each event, with colors and foil balloons to match the theme! Let us be your Balloon people!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do balloons last?
Rubber latex balloons only about 8-12 hours once blown up. Foil Mylar balloons can last about 3-4 days, sometimes longer if they are kept indoors.
How many days in advance should I order balloons?
Depending on the size of the order and the time of year we will ask for about a 2-week notice. If the order is small and simple, then the week of the event should be fine
Our venue has a no latex policy, are there any non-latex balloons?
Yes, the foil mylars contain no latex and can be used in place if balloons are desired at the event.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, we offer delivery for all our balloons. There is no minimum number of balloons but there is a charge. Delivery inside Billerica is $8.00. Delivery outside Billerica is $3.75 a mile from our location to the venue address.
How much does a balloon arch cost?
We make a variety of Balloon Arches that all vary in pricing. I would suggest looking at our sell sheet which has our most popular designs. This also has the starting pricing for each of our arches. Prices may increase depending on customization.
How well do balloons hold up outdoors?
When it comes to balloons being outdoors there are a lot of variables to take into consideration. Temperature, Wind and Sunshine are major factors to consider. If the temperature is too cold, balloons will look like they are under-inflated. If balloons are too hot, it does run the risk of popping. Wind is never our friend and may blow your balloons away, make sure to have a weight of something to tie them too. Ask us about recommendations for your event.
